1 Timothy 4:12

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. (NIV)

A Generation After God's Heart

The majority of youth in this world crave for the wrong things. Searching for the ultimate, but not understanding what that ultimate really is. But there are some out there brave enough to be the voice of truth. You are chosen by God to do great things! Let your light shine before all, and they will see you, and praise God. BE THE REVOLUTION! Make huge changes in your home, in your school, in your community, and even the world! It starts with one heart; a heart filled with God's holy fire. GET INVOLVED! Find something you can do to benefit others, and to bring a smile to God's face. (Check out volunteer match on the right side of the page.) VOLUNTEER! In everything you do, do it for the glory of God. SMILE! You are a precious child of God! Share this love with others, in any way you can! Say hi to a stranger, help an old lady in the parking lot, pick up a piece of garbage so others will see your love. DO ANYTHING! Talk to people of God's love. It's the best thing in the world to lead someone to Jesus!

Forgiveness

Ephesians 4:32

Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

Jesus wants us to flow with the kindness that he gave to us. He loved us while we were still sinners, and we should show others that same compassion. Someone might have hurt you, but forgiveness is a choice. And once you make that choice, you will be happy and so will the other person.

If you don't forgive, you will be holding that grudge, and you won't be happy. The other person won't be happy either. And God won't be happy. He can't forgive you if you can't forgive others.
When you make the decision to forgive you're being a shining example of how Jesus can forgive sinners. If us humans can forgive, then Jesus can forgive us a million times more. Jesus will forgive us any time we ask him as long as we mean it. So can you. If someone in your life just can't stop screwing up, but really does want to change, it's your job to forgive.

And when you finally do, you'll both be joyful and can love each other, and have that abounding in your heart rather than hurt and anger.

So if there is someone in your life that you need to forgive, do it today, and you will all be happy, and you'll be an example to others of what Jesus does for all of us.

Do Not Judge

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Sometimes we look at others and judge them. We want them to do things differently, or think they look bad, or want them to be nicer to us. But God wants us to treat everyone the same, and not show favoritism or to think that someone is below us. We're all under God, and we're all made by Him. We're all in equal need of His grace.

When you see people as being creations of the same Father, you begin to feel more connected to people, and hope the best for them. Remember that you're not perfect either. Just like Jesus said, we always try to take the speck out of someone else's eye, but we don't want to see the plank in our own eye.

Look at yourself first, then help other people if they're willing to hear it. But don't think you're better than them. We're all in the same boat. Jesus will judge them, it's not your job.

Love others as yourself, and this judgement will fade away from your eyes. We need to humble ourselves as Jesus did. He even washed people's feet. And feet are disgusting lol. We always want to look out for ourselves, and just survive. But we should be like servants for God, and help others whenever we can.

We are supposed to be like ambassadors of heaven, showing others what our homeland is like. Being an example of what they can have in their hearts too. So when we judge people and are mean and rude, we give people the wrong idea of what God is like. No one would want to love a God like that, and He isn't like that. People make mistakes, but we need to learn how to have self-control. We need to have peace and patience with people, and show them how Jesus is.

It takes one to know one. So when you say someone is snobby or doesn't work the right way, you're identifying something that you know is wrong with yourself too. But if you show others the things they are doing right, and encourage them, they will want to do even better. Brighten someone's day with a kind word. Be joyful always, and take care of people and their hearts. When people see how you treat them, they will want to worship your God. Treat others how you want to be treated.

Be Like Children

Luke 18:16-17

Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not recieve the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.

Jesus loves children. He said, "If anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."

By doing this, you're showing that you care about people, even little children, who a lot of people look down on, and think that they are not important. But Jesus wants us to love them, and to be like them, rather than a mighty person.

Jesus wants us to be humble, and gentle, and obedient like a child. Children don't go around thinking they're better than other people. Because they're small and meek. Jesus would like us to be that way.

When a child is told to do something by their parents, they usually do it because they have no authority over an adult, and they must do it. In the same way, we should be obedient to God, because He is our authority figure, and we love him and do what He tells us to do, and trust Him that He knows what is best.

When you were a child and your parents told you not to touch fire, you had to trust them to know that they were right in telling you this. So,
when God tells us to do something, we should believe Him so much more, and know that His rules and His ways are right, and to protect us and keep us safe.

Children love to learn, because it makes them happy to know something new. But when we get old we sometimes feel like we know everything and we're proud and don't want to learn more. Children want to know God, and know more about Him. Children, most of them lol, are pure and loving, and want to do what is right, and want people to respect them. We should want to have a relationship with God too, we're never too old.

Get on your knees and humble yourself to our Lord, and understand that He loves you. You are His child, and He watches over you and wants what is best for you too.

Love Even When Others Don't Love

Matthew 5:46

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others?

Let's say you're in line at the store, ready to check out. You get to the cashier and she doesn't say anything to you, or even look at you. She starts stuffing your things into the plastic bags and you say, "Hello, how are you?" She snaps, "Horrible!" She doesn't even give you the correct change, and you tell her about it. She goes crazy on you. What do you do?

That was something that happened to a pastor, and he was saying how he could have gotten upset and yelled at her too, but he calmly asked if he could pray for her, and she smiled, and told him that it would nice of him. And she said how she has a daughter in the hospital and they don't know if she is going to get well.

That was a great example of self-control and love. If he had yelled at her, she might have done something crazy and quit her job and left her family in even more dispair. But in this act of love, he got to show God's glory to a woman who had hit the bottom, and she had gotten a ray of hope from a kind stranger that cared for her even when she was mean to him.

Everyone has someone in their life at some point, who does something not so nice to them. Someone might cut you off when you're driving, or say something rude about what you're wearing, or just seem to be ignoring you or is in a grumpy mood, grunting every word they say.
Instead of returning anger with anger, surprise them and be nice to them even though they're being mean to you. This will soften their hearts. Why would you want to make them even more mad? You would only seek revenge or the last mean word to boost your own ego, but in the end you'll just feel angry, and later guilty. And no one is helped.

Don't carry someone else's attitude with you the whole day. If someone did something mean or rude to you, don't let that poison you. Let go of it and move on if they don't want your help. Happiness is a choice. Focus your thoughts on God and His goodness, and you will have peace.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Don't seek revenge, because if it really was that horrible, God will justify you in the end. Leave everything up to God, and let him do the judging. All you have to do is love. That is the sole purpose God made you for.

Ponder

Sometimes I think really deep lol. I have always done this. I always felt like the body wasn't just a body that happened by chance to your parents. I always felt like I could have been born as someone else. And sometimes I would ask myself, why was I born this way? Why wasn't I born as someone else? I could have had different parents and lived somewhere completely different. Or why am I a girl and not a boy?

Sometimes I think really deep and wonder, why is there only two genders? Why not four or five? Who set all these rules of the world. Why are there certain colors...is it possible to make more colors? Why does the sky have to be blue? Why do rainbows appear?

Science will say that you were born who you are because your parents got together and made you, but somehow with my deep thinking, this still never made sense to me. I can see how the body would form in my mother's womb, but I still don't understand why a body equals life. But the thing is God gives life to the body.

Or they will say that you are a girl because of the x and y factors and you have to have a certain matching. But I always wondered why it happens that way. Doesn't someone have to decide which way it's gonna land? Gravity decides which way your penny will land, so doesn't something else have to decide how your gender will work out?

Or why do we see through our eyes, and why do we talk from our mouths, but when we talk we look at someone's eyes instead of their mouth...it's like our eyes are windows to our souls. Don't most of us agree we have a soul? Then where does it come from? We didn't have our mother create a soul in her womb lol. That just sounds insane.

Why is there two genders and not four or five? Who decided that there would be two genders? Did evolution do this? Are we not satisfied with what genders our monkey ancestors established and that is why there are gay and transexual people? (I'm being sarcastic here. We don't come from monkeys..lol I'm sorry, that was just needed) It just doesn't make sense.

Where do colors come from? How can evolution explain colors? They say we evolve because we need new things and adapt to our environments to survive and become better. But why the colors? Did they just materialize because we needed something pretty to look at? The world could have been flat and grey if evolution is real, and it wouldn't make a difference to their theory. It would make more sense if our world was as simple and survivable as could be.
Why does the sky have to be blue? They say it's because of the water molecules, but I think too deep, and I wonder why does water molecules have to be blue?

Why does a rainbow have to show up in the wet air? Why are the colors arranged that way? People don't think it's a big deal when a rainbow appears, or they spray their garden hose through the air and it shows up...but don't they think deeply like I do and wonder why it does that. Couldn't it just be one color in the rainbow? Why does it do that?

I believe that God is more believable than all of this happening by chance. Evolutionists have more faith than I do because it takes more faith to believe that this is all an accident. There has to be a designer, a creator, a caretaker, of all of these wonderful things in our world. This couldn't happen by chance.

And a soul is a real thing. A scientist may be able to create a human body in a petri dish, but they can't give it a soul, and the breath of life. It only lives because God lets it live. When we're born, God breathes a breath of life into us, and it stays in our nostrils until the day we die.

But sometime inbetween, we have to make the choice to be born again, and get a heart of flesh to replace our heart of stone, and a new spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, (your mom gives birth to your body) but the Spirit gives birth to Sprit (God gives you the Holy Spirit). Non-believers of Jesus are born once, and die twice. Christians are born twice and die once. (Born from your mother, then you can be born again and have the Holy Spirit or not. Then everyone dies. But some go to heaven. Some die again in hell.)

Most people are walking around not fully alive. They may have their body, and their brains and their souls, but they don't have a real Spirit in them. They are missing half of themselves, and that is why they wander around their whole lives looking for something to fill that hole in their heart.

I hope you can realize that you're not an accident, and that if you're still missing that piece of your heart, that you will let Him in you today.
